There’s lots of rocks to be had around Sawarna beach. Here’s one of the bigger ones withstanding the test of time again and again.

Enjoy Tanjung Layar Sunset! on Flickr.
Via Flickr:
You may have seen the last sunset shot at Tanjung Layar, Sawarna Beach, Banten, Indonesia. It was blissfull, peaceful, solitary… however, the beach was quite crowded and the sunset was enjoyed by many photographers, couples and kids alike.

White Crater Ciwidey #1 on Flickr.
Via Flickr:
First LE ND10 take from the “white crater” Ciwidey, Kawah Putih, Bandung, Indonesia. The fumes were quite intense and after 1 hour I had enough and went back up, taste of sulfur in my mouth. Lots of people were there and hardly any LE shot went uninterrupted. I had to loan a camera (Canon 5D Mark II) and unfortunately the sensor was quite dirty and even had dead pixels, something that is very visible at aperture 22 and I had to edit out a ton of sensor dust. Next time sewakamera.com please rent out clean cameras!
More LE takes on Ciwidey will follow soon. Still travelling in Indonesia. Stay tuned!
