Snowdon Expedition 1996, Wales. After getting lost trying to find the tail leading to the mountain top a local ram encounter made us change course (none shall pass and such) and ultimately we found the trail (dangerous as it was and frozen and icy). When we reached the top, freezing, sweating and cold as mutton chops on ice, we saw that there was a tram going up all the way to the top from the other side of the “mountain” (yes it’s just about one with 1085m). Did we look sheepish… but even more so when that woman got off the tram in her dress and high heels, took 3 steps and almost fell off the hi.. err mountain. High heels and mountain tops make for much better stories than rams at the bottom, eh?
This is a scan of a Kodak slide from 1996 taken with a Canon EOS 450D and a crappy kit lens. I’ll be posting a few more scans of film shots I did back then in the “old” days.artflakes • google+ • twitter • facebook • tumblr • 500px • blog
