Another scene from a Traditional Batak dance performance ( Tor-tor and Sigale-gale) at the Huta Bolon Village (Desa Huta Bolon), Simanindo, Samosir Island, North Sumatra.

There are eleven parts to the performance altogether, e.g. a ceremony for the gods, the sacrifice of a buffalo, a dance of women hoping to find a husband. At about ‘half time’, spectators are invited to join the dancers.
Location: Samosir Island, North Sumatra, Indonesia
